Islamorada Snorkeling

You can experience the best snorkeling in Islamorada on your very own private snorkeling charter.  We will show you Islamorada snorkeling spots that don’t show up on the tourist maps. The larger snorkeling tours can’t offer you the experience that you will get with your very own charter and a Captain that takes the time to share the local knowledge.  Learn about our coral and how to protect it while Capt. Matt guides you through these beautiful underwater gardens. It’s not uncommon to come across spectacular wildlife such as sea turtles, nurse sharks, or rays. Don’t worry, the nurse sharks are extremely docile.

Alligator Reef Lighthouse Snorkeling

Most of the images found on the internet when searching for Islamorada snorkeling are taken from the Alligator Reef. There is a rich history with the coral reefs here in the Florida Keys and some of it can be seen from the lighthouses that line the edge of the reef. The Alligator Reef Lighthouse is a historic backdrop to beautiful blue and green water filled with sea life. The lighthouse was originally established in 1873 and located about 4 nautical miles East of Indian Key.
